|Dr. ir. Ying Zhang is an assistant professor at the department of organization and personnel management. She is also the academic coordinator of ERIM China Business Research Center. She specializes in the researh of Chinese economy and management, China's entrepreneurship development, and Chinese firms' catching-up. Before joining RSM, Ying Zhang had worked at the United Nations University-MERIT and Eindhoven University of Technology where she got her Ir. and Ph.D. degree. Meanwhile, Ying Zhang is also the visiting scholar at Chinese Academy of Sciences, at School of Management, University of Chinese Academy of Science. Currently, her research focuses on the direct and indirect return of social capital from FDI to Chinese entrepreneurship development and catching-up, and the role of entrepreneurial orientation in Chinese firms' catching-up.
